I’m Lisa “Lele” Sadoughi. I’m the founder of Lele Sadoughi.

10 years ago, I created Lele Sadoughi, which began as a jewelry brand. After years designing apparel, accessories, and trims, launching the jewelry at J. Crew and designing for Tory Burch, I started my namesake label Lele Sadoughi. We have since then expanded into headbands, hats, handbags, belts, socks, and many other categories.

My favorite career moment has been growing the team and opening our first retail store in 2021. We have plans for more stores including Newport, California in May 2022.

My favorite accessory is not about wearing a single piece, but about mixing together many pieces to create a look. Lately, I’m into pairing our sweetheart sunglasses with a jeweled headband and statement earrings with a matching handbag.

At the moment, I’m working on the styling of our next collection called Luxe Bohemia. The inspiration is about mixing worldly keepsakes with luxe materials and embellishments like glass beads and genuine stones with raffia sand cotton embroideries.

I’m the most inspired walking the streets of NYC and traveling to see different cultures and people of all ages mix colors and silhouettes.

I love the Mestiza brand as it incorporates bright colors, ribbon details, and fun prints. Dressing should be fun and define your mood, and Mestiza is a happy brand that makes me feel good.
